I gotta say, one of the things that I notice when I go to all the weddings, sorority formals, and other events I go to, there are always an abundance of people with their little point and shoot digital cameras and I'm always willing to help you get a shot with you and your friends with your cameras. I know many photographers hate the idea of someone else even having a camera at the event because that may take away from their sales, but for me, I think if someone with a little point an shoot is going to take a picture that is going to kick my pictures' ass, um....I better step up my game! I, on the other hand, actually enjoy using all of your cameras. Since I'm a totally gadget geek, I love seeing what the people like to use and what they can do. So far, I still gotta give the best of the best (judging/viewing from the LCD) point and shoot to all of the little Canon cameras, they are responsive and most importantly they deliver excellent images (for their size).

But my point today isn't to give Canon some extra kudos for making killer little digital cameras, but it's to kinda educate you guys about using flash on your little digital cameras. From my last 8 or 10 weddings/events I've noticed a big trend of people using their digital point and shoot cameras. Probably about 70% of you for some odd reason loooooooove to shoot in very dim ballrooms with the flash setting to off. uh....why? Even if your little point and shot can shoot at 1600 ISO, the ending result will be ranging from a very blurry to somewhat blurry and very yellowy-orange and ugly shadows under everyone's eyes and nose. This is easily taken care of if you geniuses out there just turn on the flash on your camera. I know if you turn on your flash, most likely you'll end up with a pretty well lit people but the background would be dark. But in my somewhat knowledgeable opinion I'd say that beats a ugly yellow-orange blurry picture any day.

So now that I'm blogging somewhat regularly, I got the 2nd wedding that I shot for 2008. This wedding is probably one of the more extravagant wedding that I've been to to date. I was in for a treat with all of the details everywhere put together by John & Vivi. They had their ceremony and reception at the Hyatt Regency Orange County and every time I shoot there I find something else cool to shoot! Check out the images below :)

I love how the videographer has a camera from the 80's and L-O-V-E to get in front of my lens at any and all possible (and sometime impossible) situations. Really, anyone that's worked with me professionally at a wedding or any event for that matter know that I'm probably the most accommodating and easy to work with photographer, there is absolutely no need to ...um....try to box out....we can share all the shots together if you like. Be professional please!

oh look 2 of these guys......I'm definitely adding a clause in my contract about NOT allowing any other photographers at the wedding. And for all you brides out there planning your wedding, just make sure you spend good money on ONE good photographer (or photography team) for your wedding and you will get excellent results. You're just going to be biting your self in the rear if you have more than one official photographer/team trying to get the important shots! Like this one....ruined :)

So a quick interruption from the usual weddings, we'll quickly skip forward to something we just shot last night at the Embassy Suites in Garden Grove. We've shot there a few times and many times in that area and we really enjoy the staff as well as their services. Wedding of John and Amanda is a beautiful one not because of the venue or decor, but because they are a wonderful loving couple that has been together for.....quite a while (kids are like as old as me :).....but I can feel the love between them are as strong as any young couple I've shot! Ok, plus they had their wedding at the beautiful St. Andrews Catholic Church in Pasadena. Check out the pictures below.

It's almost the middle of June 2008 and I've finally finished posting weddings from 2007! Such a milestone! I think I'll take a few months break before starting on shoots from 2008.

Just kidding, imaging how long I'll be if I really decided to take a few months off from blogging? few days = few weeks, few months = few years?.....NOOooooOOoooo.

I'll have them lined up for you now that blogger has the "post-date posting" feature (or whatever it's called). So I can work real hard for like a week and then slack off for few months....for real, me like it :)

Gene & Jenny - Cabo San Lucas - Destination Wedding (Part 2)

Yeah, as I mentioned in my last post I would give you guys the 2nd part of this destination wedding in a few days.....and what happened? yes, it's been more than a month and I am just typing it now. I feel so ashamed! :)

Ok, on with the blog post...

Gene and Jenny's wedding day was yet another beautiful day in the scenic Cabo San Lucas area, and I was lucky enough to be shooting their beach wedding at the oh-so-exclusive Esperanza Resort! When we got to their hotel suite to get some getting ready pictures we felt so comfortable because everyone has already met and ...shared a few shots of Don Julio the nignt before! Well, I guess I'll let the photos do the talking.

Gene & Jenny - Cabo San Lucas - Destination Wedding (Part 1)

Again, I am apologizing for the nth time for taking my sweet time in blogging my weddings, but what can I say, I got so many hats to put on now......(i.e. daddy, husband, son, son-in-law, photographer, photographer critique-er, image editor, and the IT guy for my studio, plumber, and most prominently seen, a slacker!)

Anyhow, as if anyone is reading this....blah blah blah.....I will continue to post the awesome weddings that I have the privilege of shooting and share my imagery with all 3 (or so) of you who who checks out my blog, if not less :(

alright now, back to work! I believe I blogged about this a while back so for those of you who has been following this action packed blog will remember that I did my very first destination wedding last November and it was at the super luxurious and laid-back town of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!!! I was super stoked when Jenny and Gene came into my studio for the first time to check out my work, I could remember it being super busy in the studio because it was a weekend and I did a terrible job of explaining everything to them just because there were about 2 other couples wanting to check out my work at the same time, so I remember just quickly going over some of my work and pricing. But I remembered them clearly because they told me that they're having a destination wedding and I've been looking forward to it for a while! But after they left, I felt like I didn't present my work well enough to convince them of my work, but the for some miraculous reason, they had a really good impression of me and my work that they decided to fly me and my #1 assistant (my wife Jenny) out to their wedding and put us up in a beautiful suite at Villa del Arco in Cabo San Lucas!

Originally, in the back of my mind I was thinking.....SWEET.....we get to either arrive or get to stick around a few more days either prior or after the wedding to chill and relax, but just as my luck goes, we were super swamped at the studio prior to the wedding and I had a couldn't-miss-it-for-the-word event (only my baby's 1st birthday!) happening just the day after their wedding so our schedules were a bit crammed. Their wedding was on 11/5/2007 and had scheduled a welcoming dinner the night prior 11/4. anyone still reading this? Ok, I will continue.... We arrived at the airport at around noon and figured that we would get to the hotel in around an hour or so. But OMG, it was crazy at the airport, there were probably 30+ people soliciting to take us to our hotel.....and after much confusion and tightly hanging on to my gear and luggage, we decided to take one of the bus line that took people into the city. Which turned out to be a good deal but also turned into a sales tool for the Westin selling their time shares! So we didn't get to our hotel until around 3pm! 3 hour ride, you can imagine how pissed off my wife was after that.....(I thought they told you it would only be around 1 hour...!) After we got there we quickly unpacked our gear and got ready for work. We had only 2 hours to figure out how to get to the Gene and Jenny's hotel, the Esperanza Resort, and find them!

Alright, I think I've already pushed the limit of how much reading my blog readers will endure, so I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the Welcome Dinner....look for part 2 in a few days!

Hello all, I think I'll finally get a bit deeper than just posting pretty pictures, this way more of you guys are more educated on what to look for when you're looking for a photographer for your big day. One of the questions besides "do you shoot digital?" or "are you digital?" is "Do you 'retouch' the images that are included in the DataDVD that's included in your package?" The answer to that is pretty simple and it is a big B-I-G no. I am pretty sure that you will NEVER find a photographer that shoots in a mixture of Photojournalistic, Candid, Directed, and Traditional styles to actually sit down and retouch each and ever image that is delivered to the couple. BUT.....they may edit ALL of them! Which is what I do. Let me explain.

The term retouch is thrown around very loosely among other photographers, but for me there is a very big and distinct difference between editing all of the images and retouching them. For me, the brief definition for retouching an image would be removing stray hairs, blemishes, pimples or other imperfections on the face(s) as well as other "physical" changes (i.e. removing unwanted person(s) or items) to the image. I am very sure that no photographer is going to "retouch" ALL the images, if he shoots 800 or 1000 shots, you probably will not get your images back for at least 6 months! In my opinion, the brief definition for editing is adjusting the white balance, luminance, contrast, saturation, color correction, and any other adjustments/tweaks that may give the images that extra pop to give it that signature MrHenryWang look.

For us, the workflow for after an shoot is to download the images then back them up 3 times in two different locations (we're proud of that). Then we would go through all of the images shot to delete any of the undesirable images, for example blinked, flash not firing, testing shots, or the occasional out of focus shots (yes, we're human too....). After that step is done then comes the "editing" stage. We open each image with our RAW file editor and, as I mentioned above, we will adjust the luminance, contrast, saturation, white balance, and other secret tweaks that we do to give it the look we're looking for. All of the images that goes through this process is then saved to an uncompressed TIFF format which you will receive on DataDVD's. This means that all of the images/files that are received by our couples are fully edited, color corrected, and basically ready for showing off!

Now, please do not get confused and start telling everyone that Henry Wang Photography does not retouch any of the images. That's not true as well. Once our couples choose their favorite images for their album, we will do all of the retouching the bride and groom requests and also add our own touch to the images as well!

So while you're shopping for your wedding photographer, and he/she tells you that he professionally retouches all of the images that you get, ask him a quick follow up "I know it may sound silly, but what do you mean by retouch?"

Dante and Jimelle, they may look familiar to some of you because they're a great looking couple, but also because I had the pleasure of shooting their engagement session down in long beach and seal beach a few months before their wedding. They had their ceremony and reception at the beautiful Trump National Golf Club in Palos Verdes. Wedding of David and Thi (pronounced tee) was a real fun, but long day. We did some tea ceremony in the morning at Thi's home with her closest 50+ family members, then headed out to the Arboretum in Arcadia to get some video and photos done for the wedding party and of course the beautiful bride and groom! After that, it was a break for every before continuing the celebration at the Universal Hilton for a reception with 450+ of their closest friends and family! Enjoy the photos!

Hey, just found something much cooler than YouTube! (uh.....I only (waste) allocate minimal time to that kinda stuff during the work day......of course!

It's www.hulu.com. I think it's backed or even operated by NBC and they have full episodes of The Simpsons, SNL, Heros, and a bunch of other shows that's on NBC! Plus, they even have movies, full length ones (well, I think they only have older movies, but time-killer(wasters) none the less!)

Don't know why I'm promoting them, but just felt like sharing something cool that I found....I'll even include one of the "Popular Clips" that was just halarilus from SNL...enjoy

Ok, I know I missed one yesterday...but I have a great excuse! I was shooting a wedding yesterday at the beautiful Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank. So be on the lookout for some stunning pictures from last night soon!

YAY! two in a row! I'm on a roll with this blogging thing :)

This was a pretty last minute wedding that we got but couldn't have had more fun at this wedding! The guys were such a cool group they were up for anything to help Henry (the groom, not me) get his bride! You've gotta see the pictures to believe it!

OKAY....finally back to work....on this blog! I apologize for the delay, but here you go. I promise to have new weddings up here on a regular basis and also even share some thoughts with all of you on things wedding!

Now, back to the subject at hand.

What can I say, this wedding was probably one of the most laid back weddings and everyone was so cool! Mike and Jen had a quick tea ceremony at the bride's home then headed off to Mission261 for a quick lunch breat before starting their wedding ceremony at the rooftop garden at the San Gabriel Hilton with the reception of 300+ family and guests immediately after. I knew that I've been super lazy in the blogging-ness for since November, but I didn't realize that weddings wise I've got weddings backed up from September that haven't made it to the blog yet!!! I should be ashamed of myself!!!

WHAT, another referral wedding? YES! This bride booked me over the phone from Manhattan, NY! Cynthia (or Cindy as she likes to confuse me...) is a cousin of Tina & Marcus so she has already seen my work and heard about how I shoot weddings so she was sold before calling me! yay, more of this kind please!!!

Anyhow, these guys actually had their wedding down in San Diego so I had my brother come along as the drive / 2nd shooter / formal picture taker! Cindy's family LOVES to take pictures with their relatives since they do not get to see each other very often, so while I was upstairs taking pictures of Cindy getting ready, jerry was SOOOO swamped with all of the aunt and uncles requesting pictures! Thanks Jerry, you rock!

The same day Jerry was shooting Darin and Stacey's wedding, I was busy shooting Water & Geraldine's wedding. These guys are referrals from Juan and Claudia's wedding I shot a year ago! Yay for referrals!

This wedding was such a FAR drive, it's out in woodland hills! I know there are plenty of you out there that say that's nothing, but after you've been shooting a wedding for 10 hours, then drive more than an hour back home! That's quite a drive!

But luckily for me I had a super cool couple to work with and they kept telling me how F-ing kick ass I was, so that helped alot with the ego thing :P Check out the images!

This couple may look familiar to you whose been with my blog for a while :) I shot their engagement session a few months back Jerry (my big brother) had the pleasure of shooting this super beautiful wedding at a spectacular venue. They had their ceremony at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach and their reception at the Turnip Rose Grand Newport Plaza!!! I was so envious that Jerry got to shoot there. But no worries, you'll see me shooting my couple right after this couple's :)

UPS is a negligent and irresponsible company!

Back in August, our studio sent a package to one of our customers in Fremont, CA. The package was insured for $950 and contained a 30x40 enlargement picture that was mounted and laminated and also framed. We sent it to them using UPS Ground. The package was delivered in promised time, but when the couple received the picture at their door, they noticed that the package had a huge break/dent in it all the way down pass the packaging and on to the enlargement itself!

The damage to the package was so severe that the original 2 layers of 1.5" foam layers were crumbled like cookies and more than half of the packaging material has already been lost by the time the package was delivered!

Luckly the frame that the enlargement was in was unharmed and was in perfect condition. They immediately told the UPS driver that they wanted to file a claim with UPS, but he refused to accept their claim because they are not the Sender. NO SH*T they're not the sender, but they are the people paying for this precious wedding enlargement portrait and why would they want a big whole in their wedding portrait!?!

2 Phone calls later from us, the sender, UPS has agreed to accept this claim and has sent a driver to pickup the damaged package to get it checked out and possibly issue a check to cover the damage that was done.

When the driver went to pick up the damaged package, he insisted on taking the frame that was undamaged and shipping it in the originally damaged packaging that CAN NOT provide any protection for the frame in transit! We had no choice, it was either all or nothing the driver told them, so they reluctantly let the driver take the package.

2 weeks later, we receive a beated up box with a frame in it that didn't even resemble the original frame that we originally shipped. I asked our driver what happens now, he told us that if they returned the packaging to you it must mean that they've approved of the claim and a check should follow shortly.

We thought, great news! So we didn't call anyone at UPS and just waited for our claims check to come.

Today, I called UPS and asked for the status of this claim and gave them the tracking number of this package. The person on the phone asked me for my fax number and told me that she was going to fax me some paperwork so that I can get it resolved. I thought that was strange, I thought it was already taken care of....? I get the fax and it says that it was not packaged properly and that the claim has been denied.

WTF?

They will not pay for the damage done to the picture. But more unbelievably, they will not take responsibility for the complete destruction that they have done to the frame, which was fine!

So the latest is that NO ONE from 1-800-PICK-UPS can help me anymore since it has already been denied. And one of my LOCAL rep's will contact me before the end of the day Monday.

I think you guys have already stopped reading this junk 8 paragraphs ago, but I'll still keep you updated on this......

Hello my blog readers, I know there are probably less and less of you guys "stalking" my BLOG since I haven't updated anything since a little more than one month ago. But like always I will be back very shortly. As always, I like to provide some excuses for my long absence and I think this time it'll hold it's weight.

Since last post, I've:

Shot 4 weddings.

Had one of my server somewhat crap out on me (that holds ALL of the wedding day photography that I do right! But luckly, I have 2 backup servers setup so in an event like this, I just have to replace a few drives and avoid the cold sweating!).

Got a flat tire on the freeway (and it didn't have a puncture or anything, just decided to give us problems. So after this experience when people tell me that they had a flat on the freeway and will be late, my first response won't be Bullshit! anymore, because it's a pain in the ass to get it changed and get back on the road).

Spending ~$800 for new set of tires (they were almost due for change. Good and Bad reviews for Costco, they had the $60 off 4 tires coupon so that was great, but the BAD part is after 6 hours of wait (i went back to work) they didn't even took the time to properly put my spare tire back in it's place!).

Spending $1300 more at the Acura dealer to fix the SRS light.....plus a whole slew of others (Thanks JC for taking off some of that $, but hey, when I picked up the car, the plastic thing they put on the seat was still there along with the rest of the tags and floor junk! No "great"s on the telephone survey this time).

Entered a bunch of prints into my very first 8x10 print competition (fingers crossed, I totally procrastinated on this one too, almost didn't make it for the deadline of the competition).

Getting ready to shoot my very 1st Destination Wedding in stunning Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!!!.

And did I mention my birthday is coming up this Sunday.

But I don't think any celebration is happening soon for the big 29 (feeling old outside, still feel super young inside!) because I have a 12 hour wedding on the 27th at the Universal Hilton, then on Sunday the 28th, I have an engagement lunch to shoot in the morning(This couple is actually a real treat to shoot because I'm doing their wedding in June or July `08, but shot the bride's sister's wedding around 3 or 4 years ago, then after shooting that she referred around 5 or 6 brides to me so I love her for that!) then a sorority event to shoot from 3~9 in Tarzana. So......Happy Birthday to me! But I'll probably get some celebration in after I come back from Cabo San Lucas because Megan's birthday is 11/6, she's turning 1! or as some parents would put it, 12 months, or 52 weeks, or 365 days...? Okay, I'm pushing it...

phew, such a long winded post, but hey I've been away for a while :)

Jimelle & Dante's e-Session

It's been a long week for me, I've just been an editing machine for the past 3 days! Good thing I get a break from shooting this weekend :)

Jimelle and Dante is getting married on October 13th at the Donald Trump place in Palos Verdes. They were one of the lucky couples that booked me for their wedding day photography during April when I was giving out free e-Sessions :) Stay tuned to my blog, I'll most likely be having something of that sort in a few months! So back to this shoot, we shot at their very beautifully new home in Long Beach, CSULB (Go Beach!), and then finished it off at Seal Beach with a killer sunset! Check out the pictures below.

Kim & Tony's e-Session

Alright, as promised in the previous post here is the e-Session of Kim & Tony, their wedding is on October 27, 2007, I was already booked for that date before they came in so we settled on the next best thing, an e-Session! For the, we went all out and did it in 2 different locations: Laguna Beach and also Disney Concert Hall. It was the very first time for me to shoot there so I was looking forward to this session very much! Oh, and these guys also came back into the studio to do some bridal shots as well...enjoy:

I know I've been lagging on posting here for a while.....but oh are you guys going to be in for a treat!

I've just finished a 4 day back to back shooting spree..... It started on September 13th with a engagement session in Laguna Beach (again...i know) AND somewhere new in Downtown LA...stay tuned.

Then on the 14th another e-session in Long Beach at CSULB and Seal Beach and with Shrek! (or shrekie as Jimelle puts it!)

After that, I did a wedding in Woodland Hills w/ my new assistant/aspiring 2nd shooter Kalen. This wedding very special and unique to me because the bride and groom kept telling me how F*ing hard i rock! So that was nice to hear :) Also, this wedding is a referral from Juan and Claudia, Walter...aka Wally is a co-worker of Juan at Kaiser so they already felt super comfortable way I shoot!

And lastly, we had this super nice couple's wedding down in beautiful San Diego, and besides the extra driving (which I made my super-duper brother do....while I slept!) it was so much fun because I ended up knowing a bunch of people here too. The bride is a referral from Tina and Marcus, well actually it's Tina's Cousin's Cousin....don't ask, they have sooo many cousins!

whoooooo! I guess my word of mouth isn't half bad :)

Wedding of David & Sherry was one of the millions (ok, maybe thousands) of weddings that were held on this super lucky/popular/sought after/earliest booking/rare day! I believe these guys had me booked around 18 months in advance (maybe more). And what a kick ass day it turned out to be. They had a wonderful outdoor ceremony and reception at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa, then after that we took the fun down to the beach and got our feet wet at the coast of Laguna Beach (we had to go, it was only 15 min drive away!).

Ok, as promised the wedding blogging continues :)

Linda and Koon may look familiar to some of you readers of my blog because I did a e-session for them back in March. But yup! Their wedding day has come and it was on June 30, 2007 at the beautiful "The Reef" restaurant in Long Beach. The ceremony was beautiful besides the HOT AS HELL temperature!

Now, Koon was actually co-workers of Kenny from the previous post (Virginia and Kenny), so they knew each other but the similarities doesn't stop there. Both couples has been together since their high school years, have already celebrated a whole dozen (yes, 12) valentine days together, getting hitched in 2007, month of June, both are boy + girl.......etc, you guys get the idea...hehe!

Ok, this post is probably going to be the LONGEST post w/ the most amount of pictures. But I REALLY tried getting it down to smaller amount of images, but trust me, I tried and this is the least I can post w/o missing too much from the wedding!

This wedding was kind of a last minute booking for me. But to my amazement, they were referred by Iwei as well! SO SWEET! Iwei, I owe you big :)

Elodie (a French name.....it's like Melodie without the M!) and George (like George Washington, without the Washington.....ok, not funny) had a cool small ceremony done at the Beverly Hills Court House...but we got a chance to drive down to Malibu to shoot at the Adamson House......

On a personal note, since I had just finished serving up my JURY DUTY duties for 9 days at the Pasadena Court House, I was not too excited to be heading into another courthouse. But luckly the security people at this courthouse were pretty cool with me bringing in my cameras and gear.

Wedding of Jimmy and Teresa, May 26, 2007 @ Pacific Palms was a pretty easy and laid back wedding since they had a lunch reception so that meant my day ended early too! (= more time w/ Megan!)

What can I say about this wedding...it was cool! When Jimmy booked me, he was probably both one of the more suspicious/cautious grooms and also nicest grooms as well. He knew getting a good photographer who will be there on time, have good interaction with the spectrum of guests, as well as maybe taking some good pictures was important so I appreciated his extra attention to my work and also how I work! I think some may think that having couples that are extra particular is a hassle or even a bad thing, but in my experience I feel that if they are particular that just means they know what they want and once I get on the same page with them it's smooth sailing from there! So me like!

Okay...so first post after long long abandoning of this lovely blog. So sorry :)

Michael and Jinny's wedding, May 19, 2007. I had a lot of fun shooting this wedding because there were lots of familiar faces as well as lots of cool people. Also, I had a good (and hot) time playing coordinator for them before their ceremony. They were so busy setting up other things that they didn't have a plan of how the ceremony was going to start and who was giving which people queue's to begin their parts....(sounds confusing...it was!) But it all worked out great! Also, this was another referral wedding! Michael's sister is Katie, which was a bride of mine from.......oh........let me think back.........um......August 2005 (who....has been so busy with work has not made the time to finish their ALBUM!). Also, I have shot Katie's husband Bo's sister's wedding Carolina and John late last year. By the way, you'll see lots of Bo in many of the pictures in this post(get out of my way Bo!...hehe)

Ok, back to the wedding. They had a traditional tea ceremony at both Jinny and Michael's homes and then headed off to the Arboretum to take some pictures and had their ceremony at the rose garden there. After the H-O-T ceremony, every headed off to Prince Seafood in Cerritos (my old home....I miss Cerritos)! Now enough blabbering....to the pictures:

Tina, I know you're reading this so this is posted up here super quick just for you and Marcus!

Some background on these guys...Tina and Marcus booked my probably almost 1 year ago and kinda love my work....(so some pressure...right) and since I've had my blog, Tina has been checking out my blog from time to time and leaving comments like....."wow, these look so great, I can't wait until my wedding"...(more pressure right..) But I think I delivered...phew! The one funny thing that happened was that while we were shooting pictures of Tina & Marcus with guests coming into the reception, I saw the parents of Hoeng...(the wedding from a week ago)! Another wedding......(this is what happens when i get behind on posting)

This wedding was almost a last minute booking, but it was really cool because it's my favorite kind of booking....a referral! The groom's little sister was one of the bridesmaid from Pauline and Kevin's wedding. That means at the wedding I ran into a bunch people that I know = more fun! But on top of it all these guys had it at a nice venue the Crown Plaza Hotel.....with close to 100 talbes (ok, 83) but still HUGE!

Alright, first wedding post after my long break! And it was pretty fun to shoot because....they're so easy to shoot, and having the wedding at the San Gabriel Hilton isn't bad either! Ivan and Sherley are a Indonesian couple and for some reason while I'm at the wedding I ran into a few couples who were our Studio's clients as well....cool!

ok, so the title is so corny...what can I do? Running of stuff to say and it's like 2am.....see the dedication? hehe

The day we were coming back was the same day that some strike was going on...so there was some crazy confusion for us about getting back to the airport. Good thing there was this guy from San Jose that was on one of the trains going home as well. He saw our clueless faces and hooked us up with precious information about taking a different train back to the airport. So thank god for him! That guy is a reminder to me to constantly be helpful...even to clueless strangers! I'm definaitely teaching that to megan when she gets bigger :)

So day 7, we're leaving the next morning so we just basically did nothing...went back to the LV store to get the Jasmine for jenny's sister, and just took our time window shopping on the Champs Elise....the kinda vacation i enjoy!

Yup! Too bad Alicia and Byron and Jenny were not liking the price of the ticket to see this show...so I only got pictures from outside.....(henry's somewhat disappointed) :(

But guess who got HOOKED UP!!! We went to the LV store and got the Bowling Bag for Jenny and a Epi Leather wallet for Jenny's sister. After the exchange rate and the tax refund....we practically got the wallet for free!!! kick ass! So we went back the next day to get another purse for her sister :) At least someone wasn't disappointed!

Day 5. It started to get REAL cold and windy....kinda like what kinda weather we're having right now in LA (well, maybe less the rain). So after a whole morning and afternoon of walking around the town, Jenny was exhausted and a bit ready to get sick...so she opted to stay at the hotel that night and i went to dinner with byron and alicia. Okay enjoy :)

last post was March 24, tomorrow will be April 14....so what have been doing the past few weeks? Shooting! and Booking! Two of the favorite things that I get to do with my job :) Then went to Vegas TWICE...no, I don't need help quitting gambling! I was there first time for the WPPI and DWF convention, then just this wednesday was there for the Las Vegas Market for bridal dresses. Just in case you guys don't already know, we're not just a photography place...we have a full line of wedding dresses, evening dresses, chinese traditional gowns, and dresses for prom!

I only shot one wedding since I came back from Paris, but I've shot probably 2 or 3 Sorority Formals from UCI and USC (i think...) Those are pretty fun because I get to shoot lots of young kids that kinda (i said kinda) make me feel young(er). Believe it or not, we have been shooting sorority and fraternity formals from the AGC (Asian Green Council.....don't ask me what that means or stand for...) and when we first started out, we were probably about the same age or younger than much of the people we were shooting, but now........ <> I still feel like i'm young like them...but then i realize that I'm daddy now, much much older...

Anyhow...enough babbling...I will gather up the remaining pictures from my Paris trip and post them up ASAP because I've got other cool pictures to show you guys!

we're back and sleeping early every night because of the time difference. So for the time being we've become early birds (at least Jenny is). Going to sleep at around 8:30~9pm, waking up at 5:30~6am!

Anyway....still semi sleepy right now....but I promise I will put up the rest of the pictures from our trip in beautiful (COLD) Paris :)

Day 4! Louvre Museum

whoa! don't try to take any pictures near or close to or even the area of the Mona Lisa painting in the Louvre. The security people will kick your ass, beat you silly, and smash your camera! Ok, maybe just escort you away and i think make you delete the picture... But yup, there must have been about at least 80 people there in line waiting to see the painting....me.....i think what's the big deal....she's nice but not that super nice...
