Day 8....we're going going...back back...to cali!

ok, so the title is so corny...what can I do? Running of stuff to say and it's like 2am.....see the dedication? hehe

The day we were coming back was the same day that some strike was going on...so there was some crazy confusion for us about getting back to the airport. Good thing there was this guy from San Jose that was on one of the trains going home as well. He saw our clueless faces and hooked us up with precious information about taking a different train back to the airport. So thank god for him! That guy is a reminder to me to constantly be helpful...even to clueless strangers! I'm definaitely teaching that to megan when she gets bigger :)

ok, train confusion...

looks like a evacuation....

strike action....

yay, back to LA

this plan, henry like.....much less crammed than the one we took going there.

OK, no more paris pictures. I promise. Now back to normal stuff...weddings and such! Thanks for reading :)

Day 7....just chill....

So day 7, we're leaving the next morning so we just basically did nothing...went back to the LV store to get the Jasmine for jenny's sister, and just took our time window shopping on the Champs Elise....the kinda vacation i enjoy!

I get some love from my love! (although that kiss looked kinda icky...i still love you JENNY!)

Dinner

i believe this was a Mojito

Another shot of this old thing...

I had to go!

Day 6...Eiffel Tower....and Mr. Vouitton's store!

Finally, after passing this thing sooo many times on this trip, we're finally visiting it :) The Eiffel Tower, enjoy!

Magnificent view from the ground!

Breath-taking view from the top!

Guess where...

Yup! Too bad Alicia and Byron and Jenny were not liking the price of the ticket to see this show...so I only got pictures from outside.....(henry's somewhat disappointed) :(

But guess who got HOOKED UP!!! We went to the LV store and got the Bowling Bag for Jenny and a Epi Leather wallet for Jenny's sister. After the exchange rate and the tax refund....we practically got the wallet for free!!! kick ass! So we went back the next day to get another purse for her sister :) At least someone wasn't disappointed!

Day 5?...sorry totally lost count by now ;p

Day 5. It started to get REAL cold and windy....kinda like what kinda weather we're having right now in LA (well, maybe less the rain). So after a whole morning and afternoon of walking around the town, Jenny was exhausted and a bit ready to get sick...so she opted to stay at the hotel that night and i went to dinner with byron and alicia. Okay enjoy :)

sexy clouds...silhouette of the Norte Dame Church

the place next to the Saint Chapelle Church

me and Jenny...we look HOT

the Arc de Triumph

making our way up! (while I was there i kept thinking if we can one day shoot a wedding in that city.....it would turn out killer!!!)

hand held shot with our little Canon SD650....sucky countrast...but so much lighter than my XTi

more sexy dramatic clouds....me like so much!

yes, my umbrella sucked...thanks Evelyn!

did I mention it was pretty windy and COLD?...

oh, and in Paris, they have mini street lights...funny!

Day 4! Louvre Museum

whoa! don't try to take any pictures near or close to or even the area of the Mona Lisa painting in the Louvre. The security people will kick your ass, beat you silly, and smash your camera! Ok, maybe just escort you away and i think make you delete the picture... But yup, there must have been about at least 80 people there in line waiting to see the painting....me.....i think what's the big deal....she's nice but not that super nice...

ok, pictures here...(remember....basically no photos allowed inside the museum)

train station

they had military people there doing security on top of having the police as well! I feel so safe :)

The Denon wing of the Louvre. Where the Mona Lisa and Mary on the Rocks paintings along with other sculpture and many old paintings

Virgin Mary with Child. I really gotta say that these sculptures are done in such detail that I feel they're going to move anymoment...like so real!

Mary Magdalene (no wonder they said she was a prostitute..?)

the inverted Pyramid

Swarovski Crystal Store's window display

huge place, this Louvre

my second attempt of the Arc de Trimph. Thanks to byron for bringing his tripod. i got a better shot than the previous day just handheld.

This is the Saint Sulpise...the one from the Da Vinci Code

such a magnificent alter

Ok, this is the Saint Chapelle....not the one that went crazy and flew to Africa

this place is famous for their huge panes of stained glass. That's not it, there's more! The stained glass has different stories from the bible! (um, just don't ask me how many there are...)

good thing I didn't bring megan....they don't allow hand holding..?

bus = sexy!

Norte Dame

more stained glass...

Norte Dame - Mini version

only 422 little steps to get to the top of the church...but there was a line of about 60 people and it was super windy...we went to get lunch instead :)
